Pinkish Rejuvenating Trial Set No. 4 by Naturae is a mild exfoliation regimen that helps get rid of unwanted dead skin cells, while pampering the newly revealed skin, lying underneath the dead skin.

This is a set of pink shades of creams, soap, and toner that adds up to the pinkish effect of this rejuvenating set. Ingredients are botanically infused to give natural nourishment to the skin, for a healthier and fresher feeling. It creates a minimal exfoliation process that scrapes off the unwanted dead skin, revealing the new skin hiding underneath the old, deak skin cells. Why is Skin Exfoliation Important?

The skin constantly renews itself, meaning, new skin cells are made every second, every minute, every hour, every day to replace the dead skin. These millions of new baby skin are produced in the lower layer of the epidermis called the Stratum Basale or Stratum Germinativum. Germanativum is from the root word germinates which means to produce or create.

According to some biologists, there are over 3.8 million new skin cells produced every second by the Stem Cells found in the stratum basale. These Stem Cells are constantly dividing to create new cells. The new cells produced by the Stem Cells are called Baby Skin Cells. These baby skin cells transform into new variants or become another person in humans for example. Some baby skin cells become Keratinocytes Skin Cells, some become Melanocytes skin cells, the cells in the skin responsible for producing black pigment to give color to the hair and eyes, and some become Merkel Skin Cells, the sensory receptor cells, responsible for receiving and transmitting sensations of feeling or touch. When you pinch your skin, the Merkel cells detect the touch and send the message to the neighboring neurotransmitters and this neurotransmitter relays the message to the brain via the spinal cord, all the way up to the celebral cortex, part of the brain where the touch message is processed. Merkel cells detect the edges and textures of objects, as well as a soft touch or light pressure.

Skin Cells Explained

Each time a new baby skin cell (Keratinocyte) is created, it pushes upward toward the surface of the skin. and stays there for about 27 days to a month then it dies and becomes dead skin cells that we see on top of our skin.

The newly created skin cells travel to the surface within four weeks. This constant renewal serves to replace the cells that are lost and fall when the skin is rubbed.

if we don’t exfoliate the pile of dead cells on the outer layer, our skin will look old and dull.  As our age increases, we look older because the pile of dead skin on our face is becoming thicker plus aging slows down the production of collagen and elastin that supports the framework of our skin. Dead skin cells are brittle, and wrinkled. No matter how good the moisturizer that you apply on the dead skin, you won’t see a glow because dead skin won’t glow. You have to remove the dead skin to give way to the new skin. This new skin is the one that you need to nourish, hydrate and pamper to make it glowing and bright using the right skincare products. It is ideal for day use. It may be used alone or under make-up. Can be used day and night, outdoor or indoor. SPF 50 recommended for outdoor use and SPF 30 for indoor.
